EVERYDAY MAKEUP ROUTINE

Hello lovelies! Recently ive been wearing makeup much more often and find myself reaching for the same products every day so i thought i would bring you my everyday makeup routine including what products i use, how i apply them, what brushes i use and how long the products last on my skin. I hope you enjoy! 

COLLECTION LASTING PERFECTION CONCEALER IN FAIR 01 - £4.19

This has been my holy grail concealer for a number of years, regardless of how many different concealers i buy, i always come back to this one. I apply this under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, around the bottom of my nose, on my chin and on any blemishes (although my skin has been pretty good recently). I apply this using the Real Techniques Essential Foundation brush as i find this spreads and blends the concealer really well. It keeps its coverage and picks up much less product than something like a beauty blender. I have super oily skin so i have to powder during the day but as long as i powder it generally has excellent staying powder. 

RIMMEL CLEAR COMPLEXION POWDER IN 021 TRANSPARENT - £3.99

The rimmel stay matte powder has always been my holy grail powder. However, last time i went to repurchase this, they did not have it in my shade so i purchased this one instead. It works in the exact same way, has the same lasting power and gives my skin a really flawless look, ive been really enjoying it. I apply this with a Spectrum A00 brush which is perfect for powdering your entire face. 

MUA BRONZED PERFECTION MATTE IN SUNSET TAN - £3

As someone with very pale skin, its hard to find a bronzer that doesn't make me look incredibly orange. This powder is super cool toned so doesn't make me look like an oompa loompa thank god, it manages to warm up my skin but also give a very subtle contour, i just find it a perfect shade for my skin. It blends super well and doesn't go patchy, its been my go to bronzer for a while now and ill certainly be repurchasing it when its all used up! I apply this with a Real Techniques Multitask brush which is perfect for bronzing and it lasts all day on my skin. 

SLEEK SOLSTICE PALETTE- BOTTOM RIGHT SHADE - £9.99

Again, as i have pale skin, finding a blinding highlighter that works on my skin tone is difficult. This palette is super blinding and works really well on pale skin so if you are fair like me i would recommend this! I use the bottom right shade, which i apply with a Real Techniques Duo Fibre Contour Brush, it is a beautiful bright white with slight peach undertones and it looks absolutely stunning on the skin. It blends beautifully and lasts all day. 

ILLAMASQUA BROW CAKE IN THUNDER - £18

This is the best brow product i have ever tried and has been my go to for a couple of years. It is a super pigmented powder which means it fills the brows in extremely well but also looks natural and it is easy to get that ombre effect. My brow game has definitely stepped up since i bought this and nothing can compare to it. I use either a Spectrum A14 or A17 to apply this and on a day to day i don't see the need to carve them out but if i do i use the collection one i mentioned earlier. If you are brunette, you MUST try this!

I would, however, suggest you use a brow gel as powder can move during the day. I use the W7 queen of brows brow gel in brunette but any brow gel would work. 

L'OREAL MISS BABY ROLL MASCARA - £7.99

I talked about this mascara in my October favorites as i absolutely love it. It has to be the best mascara i have tried, drug store and high end. It makes my lashes super long and voluminous and its very separating without being clumpy, i just love the way it makes my lashes look. @sophdoesnails (who recommended this) has a full video on her YouTube channel called 'My Mascara Routine' if you want to see how the mascara performs. 

FREEDOM LIPSTICK IN NAKED PROJECT- £5 for box of 5 so £1 each

This lipstick was part of a set of 5 for £5 (they still sell these boxes of 5) so i wasn't expecting too much for £1. I love freedom as a brand and this lipstick has quickly become one of my favorites. It is a medium nude brown with pinky undertones, i always compare this to Velvet Teddy by Mac as it is a super similar shade. It is a semi-matte finish so does not last all day on the lips but its super beautiful and is very moisturising. 

I dont use a setting spray or a primer as i find these products last pretty well without the need for either of those. I do however powder throughout the day just because i do have oily skin.
