Hey my lovelies, happy Sunday! This week I thought i would talk about my old favourite makeup products, I saw @sophdoesnails do this on her YouTube channel and I really wanted to do the same! I hope you enjoy!

MAYBELLINE BABY SKIN PRIMER

I used to love this primer as i used to think it was a dupe of benefit porefessional. It was one of those silicone based primers which fills in your pores and makes your skin super soft. Now as I have oily skin this didn't help to make my makeup last at all as it didn't have glycerine in it but back then I loved it! Not a product I would reach for now but if you love benefit professional then this is a good dupe!

RIMMEL MATCH PERFECTION FOUNDATION

I used this in the lightest shade which was 010 light porcelain. This was my go to foundation for years but looking back it was more of a light/medium coverage and moved around alot on my oily skin. It's one of those foundations that looks like skin and it used to blend beautifully but now a days it doesn't have enough coverage and is too dewey for my oily skin. However, if you have dry skin and want something more natural then this is beautiful!

COLLECTION LASTING PERFECTION CONCEALER

This is still a product that I use to this day, it has been my holy grail concealer for as long as I can remember. It has awesome coverage, it lasts all day and it is super brightening under the eye. I absolutely adore this concealer and you HAVE to try it if you haven't already!

RIMMEL STAY MATTE POWDER

Again, this is a product I still use to this day. It's just your standard pressed powder but it gives such a lovely look to the skin and does control my oily skin really well. I've tried both drug store and high end powders but I always come back to this one. A staple in my collection.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION BRONZE SHIMMER HIGHLIGHT COMPACT

I only used the two bronzing shades in this, looking back it didn't look that great on me as it was shimmery and slightly too dark for my skin, however I remember it blending pretty well. To be honest I never really used bronzer that much, I was more into contouring.

SEVENTEEN CONTOUR PALETTE

This was the first contour palette I bought and I did really like it. The contour shade is really cool toned which is good for my pale skin and it blended beautifully, it looked natural and gave good depth to my face. I've never really reached for it in recent years as I have found better products that work for my skin but if you are just getting into contouring then this is a good one!

MUA BLUSH IN CANDY FLOSS AND BUBBLE GUM

These blushers were £1 and they were super pigmented! Bubble gum was a super bright Barbie pink and candy floss was more of a light baby pink. Looking back the bubble gum shade was way too pink for me but the candy floss one was actually really lovely, I think they still make these shades so check them out as they are gorgeous on the skin!

MAC MINERALISE SKINFINISH IN SOFT AND GENTLE

I had used the highlighters in the other palettes I had which were super natural but this was the first propper highlighter I bought and was actually my first high end product! I was obsessed with this highlighter, it is a beautiful golden shade and gave such a stunning and blinding glow to the skin. I've almost ran out of mine, I may repurchase in the future but I've found other favourite highlighters so who knows! It is beautiful though and worth the money if you want to invest in a high end highlighter, I would definitely recommend it!

COLLECTION BROW KIT

My brow game has definitely improved over the years but this was my first ever brow product. I had no idea what i was doing and my natural brows were pretty rubbish but this palette is super pigmented and works really well if you have dark hair. It comes with 3 powders so you can create that ombre look and brow gel so is a super handy little kit. I would definitely recommend this one if you are looking for a pigmented brow powder which won't break the bank!

MAKEUP REVOLUTION ROMANTIC SMOKED REDEMPTION PALETTE

This was the first eyeshadow palette I ever bought, it's cool toned matte and shimmer shadows which is why I don't reach for this anymore. I love warm shades so it isn't what I would normally use but the shades are beautiful, super pigmented and they blend beautifully. It's worth the money if you like those kind of colours!

W7 BLACK LIQUID EYELINER

Again this was the first liquid eyeliner I bought and i was absolutely obsessed with it at the time. I used this for about 5 years and would refuse to try anything new. It is a pot eyeliner and the applicator is quite thick and does not bend at all so it is hard to get a precise line but you can create a good wing. It never smudged and is super black so if you like that kind of liner then it's worth trying!

LANCOME GRANDIOSE MASCARA

I bought this as it was raved about on YouTube and wanted to invest in a good mascara. This made my eyelashes SO long, they were so voluminous and separated. It could become slightly clumpy if you applied a few layers but tbh it gave you incredible lashes in one coat. I also love the mascara wand and the curvy wand made it really easy to reach every single lash. The only reason I haven't repurchased this is the price, I have mascaras that perform quite similar to this for much cheaper but if you want to invest in a high end mascara then this is a really good one!

RIMMEL KATE 107 LIPSTICK

It's fair to say that @zoella made this lipstick famous and I do understand why. I've gone through a few of these over the years as it's such a beautiful berry red shade so it gets alot of use around Christmas even to this day. It's really pigmented but doesn't dry fully matte so doesn't last all day, however I am more than happy to reapply. It is also really moisturizing on the lips which is a bonus. You should definitely try this one out, especially to wear around this time of year!

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed this😊 let me know in the comments or on my social media (always linked at the bottom) what your old makeup products were and if you still use them!
